Found this in a book and thought I would share.

(Dinner time)
Calvin: Can I have a different plate Mom?
Mother: Why?
Calvin: (Looking at his plate) Somebody puked on mine.
Mother: Just eat your dinner and keep quiet, Ok, Calvin?
Calvin: Ewwwww?!
(Calvin takes one bite and spews it all.)
Mother: Oh knock it off Calvin. It's Hambuger Casserole. There's not a thing in there you don't like.
Calvin: This is Hambuger?
(Calvin takes a bite and finds it delicious)
Calvin: Hmm...This bite wasn't so bad, for some reason.
I was able to choke it down, anyway.
My stomach is still crampling up, but the pains aren't as sharp any more.
The secret is to suppress the gag reflex.
After I swallow it! I can stand it!
Mother: Good, I am glad this is such a hit.
